Marvalet

Designed and developed a full-stack commercial website for Marvalet, a mobile vehicle valeting and detailing company. The goal was to create a professional online presence that not only showcased the company's services, but also made it easier for visitors to become customers.

I built a responsive experience around the customer journey, including a multi-step quotation system, service and pricing information, vehicle-specific options, service areas, contact methods, and interactive before-and-after transformations.

One of the most important parts of the project was turning real business requirements into working features. I had to think beyond the code and consider usability, customer conversion, mobile responsiveness, and how users would move through the website from discovering a service to requesting a quote.

Working on a live business project also gave me experience building software with a clear commercial purpose and creating features around the needs of real users.

What I worked on: Full-stack development, multi-step forms, responsive UI, customer journeys, dynamic content, business requirements, production deployment, and user-focused design.

Taraweeh Schedule App

Built and deployed a full-stack Taraweeh scheduling application using Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Render. The app was designed to make Ramadan prayer schedules easy to access through a clean, responsive interface.

I worked across the full development process, including backend logic, database models, migrations, containerisation, environment configuration, and production deployment. The project helped me strengthen my understanding of how a Django application moves from local development into a live production environment.

A key part of the project was ensuring the application remained reliable across different environments. Using Docker gave me practical experience managing dependencies and creating a consistent setup between development and deployment.

What I worked on: Full-stack development, Django models, PostgreSQL, Docker, responsive design, migrations, deployment, and production configuration.

I completed a First Class (1:1) BSc in Computer Science at the University of Westminster (2019–2023), where I gained a solid understanding of core computing concepts such as programming, databases, and basic machine learning. My coursework introduced me to areas like web development, artificial intelligence, and data analysis.

During my studies, I worked on projects including a simple stock market prediction model and a handwritten digit recognition web application. These helped me develop practical experience using tools like Python, SQL, and basic machine learning libraries, as well as improving my problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
